This is to acknowledge a contractual Agreement between represented by the undersigned Purchaser (hereinafter called the “Purchaser”)and
Robert Sorel operating as the Artists or Agent hereinafter referred to as the “Artist/Agent”) represented by Robert Sorel, The Sorel Music Studio (hereinafter called the “Artist/Agent”).
The Purchaser hereby contracts for the personal services of the Artist or Artists to provide entertainment described below as to the type, place time and remuneration.

Overtime rate:
Purchaser agrees to pay the Musician(s) an additional fee at the rate of
$50.00 per hour per musician if playing time exceeds the contracted
length of time. Overtime rate will be prorated in 30-minute increments.
Additional Terms: Purchaser agrees to provide the appropriate number of armless chairs to be used by the Musician(s) on the date of the contracted event. If the event is outdoors the purchaser agrees to provide the Musician(s) with a suitable location that is not in direct sunlight or other weather related
conditions that can be considered harmful to the Musicians(s) and/or their
instruments. In the event of rain an alternative location safe from inclement weather is required.
Cancellation Policy: If the purchaser cancels this contract LESS than seventy-two,
(72) hours prior to the date of the contracted event the purchaser agrees
to pay one hundred percent, 100% of the agreed upon wage to the musician(s)/Agent.
Prior to seventy-two, (72) hours but two (2) weeks or less from the contracted
date of the event, the purchaser agrees to pay seventy five percent, 75% of the
agreed upon wages to the musician(s)/Agent.
Purchaser agrees to provide the appropriate number of armless chairs to be used by the Musician(s) on the date of the contracted event. At no time will the purchaser(s) or anyone associated with the purchaser(s) be allowed to mistreat physically or verbally the musician(s) or the agent(s) in any way. A professional relationship must be maintained at all times, if professionalism is not maintained the musicians will leave the event and the purchaser(s) will held by the terms of the signed contract.
If the event is outdoors the purchaser agrees to provide the Musician(s) with a suitable location that is not in direct sunlight or other weather related conditions that can be considered harmful to the Musicians(s) and/or their instruments. In the event of rain an alternative location safe from inclement weather is required. Purchaser understands that some instruments, particularly string instruments, are extremely valuable and are susceptible to damage when exposed to certain climatic variations, such as rain, direct sunlight, and temperatures above 85 degrees or below 50 degrees. Unless prior written approval is obtained from Artist, Purchaser agrees that the temperature range at the performance site will fall between that stated above and that Artist will not be placed in direct sunlight or exposed to rain, sleet, snow, or other unreasonably inclement weather or performance conditions.
In the event the Purchaser refuses or neglects to provide any of the items herein stated, or fails or refuses to make any of the payments as provided herein or to proceed with the engagement, the Artist shall have no obligation to honor this contract and shall retain any amounts already paid to the Artist nor shall the Artist be obligated to reimburse any money spent or services secured on his/her behalf by the Purchaser. The Purchaser shall remain liable to the Artist for the contract price herein set forth.
No performance or portion of performance of the engagement shall be transmitted, recorded or reproduced in any manner, including but not limited to radio, motion picture or television transmission and video or audio recording (video recording for family viewing only is permitted), without prior written consent of the Artist or his/her representative or agent. In the event such recording is permitted by the Artist, the original master shall revert to the Artist unless arrangements to the contrary are made in writing with the Artist or his/her agent.
My acceptance of the Terms and Conditions set out in this Agreement is evidence by my signature below. (Signors acknowledge that s/he is at least 18 years of age.)
